Yesterday happened in the auditorium of Fiepi (PI), the Second Congress of Apiculture and Meliponiculture of the Northeast  in the city of Teresina capital of the state of Piaui. At the time, the state government has committed itself to a decree creating the Sectoral Chamber of the State of Piauí Beekeepers, involving representatives of associations, government and research institutions. It  was elected the first board of UNAMEL - Union of Beekeepers in the Northeast and Meliponinae taking forward the agronomist, Master Beekeepera  José Xavier Neto Leal. The proposal is to strengthen the productive base of honey in the Northeast, by improving the technique asistance, activity management, adapt to the market, respecting conserve natural resources and seek to recover what has already been compromised.

From November 25 to 27, the city of Morecambe in the backwoods of Pernambuco, will host the 4th edition of the  Honey Fair , Expomel. The event, which aims to promote the growth of local beekeeping supply chain, takes place simultaneously to the 8th Meeting of State Beekeeping.

The mayor of Saladas, Daniel Alterats confirmed that next Friday will be held on November 4 the official launch of the X honey provincial party  in the Green Room of Government House in the capital of Corrientes from 11am . In this release, the Municipality of Saladas biggest event organizer in the city, exposed to all media and special guests, the timing of the X honey provincial party l to be held on 18 and November 19 in the municipal sports complex.

The Cantabria Federation of Beekeepers Associations (FAAC) is very pleased how it has developed a III Cantabria Beekeeping Fair, held on 22 and October 23, 2011 at Torrelavega National Cattle Market.

Having completed the conference program, according the  schedule and with the assistance of more than 5,000 people, was adjourned this new edition of Apimondia in Buenos Aires. The winner of the APIMONDIA 2015 organizing  was  South Korea, after fierce competition with China. The curtain was closed for another two years in Kiev, Ukraine.

A few hours ago was the official opening of this event  at the show of the Rural Society in the City of Buenos Aires, until next Sunday.

About two thousand people are expected to attend the Second Congress of Apiculture and Meliponiculture of the Northeast, the biggest event of its kind in the Northeast, to be held in Teresina, on days 1 and 2 December this year. Piauí is one of the largest honey producers in Brazil.
