Yesterday was officially presented at the Centennial House of Government of the Province of Entre Rios, declared national historical monument a few years ago, the 1st National Festival of Beekeeping and 16 ª Expo Beekeeping Mercosur, or as we know the Maciá Expo. MERCOSOUTH- PRESENTED THE MACIA EXPO IN BRAZIL AND URUGUAY
The delegation which presented and promoted in this new version of Expo Macia, was led by the the Municipal Mayor, Ricardo Troncoso, starting on March 15, during the morning, in the Municipalitu of the city of Paysandu, Uruguay, where the delegation was received by Mayor D. Bertil Randolf Bentos Scagnegatti. In the afternoon continued in the House of Culture of the Municipality of Young, coordinated by the CALAY Beekeepers Cooperative, with the presence of a significant number of beekeepers, the local Mayor D. Raúl Lafluf , President of the Cooperative Enrique Plaván, authorities and various media. The next day was a presentation in the city of Pelotas, Rio Grande do Sul state, coordinated by the Uruguayans who are working in the company Fibria, technicians Gustavo Zapata father and Gustavo Zapata son, with the presence of several beekeepers and the President of the Brazilian Beekeeping Confederation José Gomercindo Correa da Cunha and the President of the Federation of Beekeepers of Rio Grande Do Sul Engineer Aron iSatttler, who is also professor of apiculture at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul UFRGRDS.

BRAZIL- HONEY TRADE MISSION TO JAPAN
The Project Honey from Brazil, a partnership between the Brazilian Agency for Export and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brazil) and the Brazilian Association of Exporters of Honey (ABEMEL), organize a trade mission to prospec FoodEx Fair, which will be held from March 1 to 4, 2011 in Chiba, Japan. Project partners, such as companies M & N Propolis, New Mel Essenciale, Lambertucci and members of the Cooperative National Apiculture (CONAP), will be in Brazilian stand organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (MAPA) and the sector of Trade Promotion of the Embassy of Brazil in Tokyo.
