USA- HONEY PRODUCERS STUNG BY IMPOSTORS IN OREGON

Thursday, 03 June 2010 17:10 Written by Analia Manriquez

Some of the product on store shelves labeled honey includes additives, said honey producer George Hansen of Colton.
Some is essentially corn syrup with a little honey added, he said. Calling anything honey that isn't 100 percent honey simply isn't right, Hansen said. "It makes our blood boil as producers to see products labeled honey when honey might be the third ingredient listed on the back of the bottle," Hansen said.

    George,

Thank you so much for blowing the whistle on this. Hopefully, Oregon can get a labeling law passed one of these days.
