ASSURE TO HAVE BREEDING BEES WITH IMMUNITY TO VARROA IN THE CANARY ISLANDS

The bees have been suffering for years the varroa depopulation syndrome or the hive, these diseases destroy the hives and the important work carried out by  pollination. In La Palma, a group of beekeepers breeding with a U.S. brought that makes them immune to these diseases, with very good results. Stephan Braun is a beekeeper and says they have bees that resist disease without treatment. This beekeeper says that many hives of other beekeepers on the island have suffered and gone. Stephan demand more support from the institutions to extend their practice across the archipelago.
