Yesterday happened in the auditorium of Fiepi (PI), the Second Congress of Apiculture and Meliponiculture of the Northeast  in the city of Teresina capital of the state of Piaui. At the time, the state government has committed itself to a decree creating the Sectoral Chamber of the State of Piauí Beekeepers, involving representatives of associations, government and research institutions. It  was elected the first board of UNAMEL - Union of Beekeepers in the Northeast and Meliponinae taking forward the agronomist, Master Beekeepera  José Xavier Neto Leal. The proposal is to strengthen the productive base of honey in the Northeast, by improving the technique asistance, activity management, adapt to the market, respecting conserve natural resources and seek to recover what has already been compromised.
