The unpredictably warm weather has disrupted the natural cycle of feeding for New York’s bees, forcing beekeepers to supplement natural sources of food and putting hives at risk.

The Department of Small Business (SEPN) began the second phase of the project to encourage beekeeping. The farmer Engelberto Flach, an expert on wild bees, and technical advisor SEPN, Francisco Lima France, are touring the state ministering course on the activity for farmers in order to form multipliers.
