USA- HEAVY RAINS ARE AFFECTING HONEY PRODUCTION IN MINNESOTA

All the rain we've been getting has some far-reaching consequences. It's not only washing out roads, but washing out local honey supplies, too. Bee-keeper Brian Fredericksen of Ames Farm out near Watertown, says estimates he's lost around 10-15 percent of his honey this year. That's around 3000 pounds. The reason is heavy rain washes away the nectar bees use to make honey. He says the early spring started off well...
