Civil society organizations, beekeepers and farmers in the Yucatan Peninsula and Chiapas have filed habeas corpus to express its dissatisfaction to the permission granted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Rural Development, Fisheries and Food (SAGARPA) to the Monsanto. On Thursday June 28 the Second District Court located in Campeche resolved the suspension to grant approval to the cultivation of GM soya, this means that pending the main issue , Monsanto can not enforce the permit issued by Semarnat.
