It was published in the Official Gazette (DOU) on Thursday (07/19) a statement of IBAMA to initiate the process. Four active ingredients that make up these pesticides will be reassessed: Imidacloprid, Thiamethoxam, clothianidin and fipronil. The first pass through the process will be re Imidacloprid, which is marketed more of these four substances. Only in 2010, the companies sold  1934 tons of Imidacloprid, about 60% of total sales of these four ingredients.
