SPAIN- LOW HONEY PRODUCTION IN CORDOBA

The COAG  beekeeping responsible in Cordoba, Lorenzo Ruiz, said it was "the worst in the last 40 years and has lost 80% of production", with just two or three kilograms of honey per hive, when last year, a campaign that was "very good", were collected up to 20 kilograms. The agrarian leader explains that  Hornachuelos was the only area that has been saved, where there are about 22,000 of the 46,000 hives across the province of Cordoba, thanks to the pollination of orange blossom and the orange.
