The Department of Small Business (SEPN) began the second phase of the project to encourage beekeeping. The farmer Engelberto Flach, an expert on wild bees, and technical advisor SEPN, Francisco Lima France, are touring the state ministering course on the activity for farmers in order to form multipliers.

The University of Nebraska State Museum's next "Sunday with a Scientist" program for children and families will explore the fascinating world of honey bees. The program will take place from 1:30-4:30 p.m. May 20 at Morrill Hall, south of 14th and Vine Streets on the UNL City Campus. Museum Sunday hours are 1:30-4:30 p.m.

Organic Beekeeping Association APISULAYR opens the registration period for the fourth edition of the Days of Initiation for Ecological Apiculture Development, a meeting to be held in Sierra Güéjar on June 9, 10, 16 and 17 . The registration period ends on June 4 and places are limited.
