ABSTRACT
Introduction. The physical therapy in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) aims to reduce pain, prevent joint limitation, muscle atrophy and restore functionality. However, even with pharmacological management is not totally control its manifestations. This study introduces the use of physical form apitherapy as adjunctive physiotherapeutic management, taking advantage of the bee venom benefits: analgesic, anti-inflammatory and aids in tissue repair. Materials and methods. We chose 4 patients with RA, according to ACR criteria, which responded to the open call and they wanted to participate. Three females and one male adult with clinically active RA who had continued painful with drug therapy, which were did not allergies or hypersensitivity to apitoxina and other systemic diseases; they were evaluated with the HAQ, the VAS, the AHI, the Articular Mobility Test and the map of the human body. The intervention consisted of conventional physiotherapy as a first stage and a month after apitherapy and physiotherapy combining. Results. Three of the four patients, all women showed a greater tolerance for physiotherapeutic management and reduction of symptoms and signs after the combination of physiotherapy and apitherapy, in respect to conventional physical therapy. The fourth patient presented a little change with the introduction of apitherapy evolving stationary. Conclusions. Apitherapy in the physiotherapeutic management of patients with RA generated positive changes in clinical outcome, its durability and long-term effects should be evaluated in subsequent controlled studies.

les cuento que en realidad nosotros en Pereira estamos trabajando con un grupo de medicos desde hace mas de 5 años con apiterapia y los resultados son increibles, ademas que los costos son adsequibles para las personas.

estoy muy interesada en el tratamiento,tengo 37 años y desde que tenia 24 años me diagnosticaron actritis rematoidea degenerativa,la cual he provado tratamientos como medicina homeopatica.mediciana convecional, alternativa, biologica y natural,las cuales en un principio me funcionan pero despues recaigo la verdad me interesaria muchisimo ser parte de este tratamiento o cura gracias por su colaboracion.
